The second goes from 5 volts to the other outer pin of the potentiometer. The first goes to ground from one of the outer pins of the potentiometer. Arduino Boards have 6 PWM(Analog Pins) these are PIN No. With a potentiometer With a photoresistor Connect three wires to the Arduino board. Technically the output is digital but in the form of PWM, but it seems to be analog. The Arduino UNO is equipped with 6 analog inputs but some projects call for more. Arduino gives analog output in range of 0 to 255. In the main loop, we take the analog reading, apply it to getvoltage to get voltage, and then apply the voltage to gettemperature to get temperature. ATtiny85 Analog comparator tutorial - Gadgetronicx Arduino, Line Chart, Electronics, Consumer Electronics. The gettemperature function takes the output voltage from the getvoltage function and uses it to calculate the temperature. #Arduino analog serialAnd this input is shown on LED as PWM and analog values on Serial monitor. Check out this Arduino tutorial for more information. * Created by This example code is in the public domain Tutorial page: This example reads the pressed key from analog keypad and prints it to Serial Monitor. Here we are taking analog input form a potentiometer.
